GRANT HUTCHINSON
DHARMA TEACHER IN-TRAINING, YOGA TEACHER

Grant Hutchinson has been practicing yoga since 2001 and began meditating while traveling in India and South-East Asia in 2004-5.   His principal yoga practice is in the Ashtanga vinyasa tradition though he also explores the meditative stillness of Yin yoga.  His teaching focusses on the subtle energetics of breathing and meditative body awareness within the movement of the practice.  Grant provides detailed instruction and establishes a supportive, non-competitive environment for internal exploration.   He has studied in depth with Michael Stone at the Centre of Gravity since 2007 and also with Ron Reid and Diane Bruni of The Downward Dog, and Richard Freeman.  Grant left the practice of architecture in 2007 to teach yoga full time.

ELAINE JACKSON
DHARMA TEACHER IN-TRAINING, YOGA TEACHER

Elaine is a yoga teacher, writer and occupational therapist who has been involved with Centre of Gravity for many years. She was drawn to Michael's integration of yoga philosophy and Buddhism with asana, ecology, activism and imagination. It took a long time for Michael to convince her that a daily meditation practice was really necessary, but when he finally succeeded she found that practice really transformed her outlook. She looks upon her ongoing engagement with TCGBA as an opportunity to give back, learn, grow, and create together with a wonderful assortment of dharma friends whom she feels privileged to get to know.

CARINA LOF, DC
DHARMA TEACHER IN-TRAINING, YOGA TEACHER

Carina Löf is a doctor of chiropractic, yoga teacher, contemporary acupuncturist and artist living and working in Toronto. Her yoga teaching blends detailed attention to anatomy and biomechanics with breath awareness and gentle curiosity as tools for self-exploration and healing. Her thorough anatomy training brings yoga injury prevention and recovery into her classes. Carina also teaches mindfulness meditation courses, and digestive health workshops integrating yoga, meditation and whole food nutrition to support ease in body and mind. She has studied in depth with her primary teacher Michael Stone and is part of the Centre of Gravity Sangha. For more information visit: www.stillpointhealth.org

ROSE RICCIO
YOGA TEACHER

Rose Riccio is a yoga teacher and Registered Massage Therapist who has a daily practice of rolling out the mat, sitting on the cushion and exploring how the mind, the body and perception intersect. What initially drew her to Yoga continues to inspire her practice today; it's ability to challenge her outer form to transform her inner one, while both expanding and evolving her life and her relationships. Her teaching style incorporates her anatomical knowledge as she brings careful attention to breathing patterns, postural awareness and mindful movement. Rose has received tremendous support, continual guidance and gentle nudging from her principal teachers Michael Stone, Pat Harada Linfoot and Scott Davis. She has found the Centre of Gravity Sangha to be integral to her growth of both being and becoming, human.
